Aero Blue 5mm HMPE

Description

A synthetic rope with exceptional strength and durability. Made of UHMWPE material, it has very high breaking loads with the smallest diameter and lowest weight. It is resistant to water, most chemicals, UV light and microorganisms.

The Aero is splice-friendly thanks to the 12-plaited construction. Perfect for making soft shackles or whoopie slings.

Despite the very good abrasion resistance of the UHMWPE fibers keep in mind its relatively low melting temperature (140-150 °C). In situations where excessive friction may occur, we recommend using protective sleeves.
